TROLLRÚN – Nicholaj de Mattos Frisvold

This book explores the magic/spellcraft (trolldom), divination and the runes in the Norse tradition, starting from the old Norse cosmology, then presenting to us fantastic creatures, especially trolls, before switching to rituals and the ancients’ practices, in particular the siðr, which rely on beliefs deeply anchored in mentalities which are still prevalent today.
